Eco-schools
GEO have recently introduced the schools system to Swavesey Village College and are looking for further schools to sign up for trials. Eco-schools encourage schools to become aware of their environment and how to make it more eco-friendly. This resource allows schools to sign up to the scheme and gives hints and tips to schools on how to save energy.
Energy Saving Trust report: GEO minim emerges as front-runner
The Energy Savings Trust recently came out with a report detailing suggested minimum requirements for energy displays provided, and used the GEO minim (our entry level energy monitor) as one of the home energy displays studied in the research. The findings indicated that the minim was not only universally liked among the participants, but also most closely matches the core specifications in the recommendation.
GEO support Newcastle's Save It Project
As part of the Save It project, GEO are helping the Rhodes family to gain a unique insight into how much they are spending on their energy. The Journal will be reporting regular updates on the family's progress. This link will take you directly to the first article in the journal.
